Sad. I sure miss Swoops. :-(
Miss you much! See you next year I hope!
I went to Embaracadero Square today for lunch. Amongst the pigeons, I saw two juvenile female Brewer's blackbirds (actually brown and quite small). Possibly one if not both of Swoops' offspring? Who knows? I wasn't divebombed. In any event, the Brewer's blackbird holds special meaning for me now having been able to experience the Swoops' phenomenon. *Note*: I never once sat across the street laughing at people getting divebombed as that would have been a disservice to the local fauna whose lives were actually made much more difficult by the slack jawed gawking of the locals. Leave the local wildlife alone people.
I miss Swoops and his entertaining antics very much. Come back soon.

Too cool! That is an awsome photo of swoops!
Thanks folks! And thank you to Heather for featuring the photo here. I took the picture and of course got nailed in the process (many times in fact).
There are so many birds in my town they just keep swooping down for no reason it is so annoying i have to literally run for my dear life
